I have has the silver stainless version of this for a few years. As soon as I saw it was available in gold tone, I snatched it up. My hubby and I love these. So far, the gold finish has not scratched off if the bottom, and I'm pretty rough with my jewelry. It's been several weeks since I got it, and I have not taken it off since I got it. If something were to happen to it, I'd definitely buy it again.
