Great quality box. Very smooth pull on the door, which makes the spider pop really quick (makes the scream quicker.) instead of the door getting stuck halfway with the spider just visible. Very well put together. All the joints were sanded smooth with no gaping, and it is finished quite nicely. Good value!

This gift gave lots of sequels of shock then delight! I liked the fact that the box gives no indication of the content. Everyone got a good hoot out of it. Of course, my daughter is not taking it to school to prank her friends. Even my wife is doing the same thing. Besides the fun, the gift is well made and will last years.

Great prank box, but I get too many ācautiousā people that slide the lid back too carefully, killing the surprise element. I put a toothpick wedged between the box & lid to make it difficult to open. Once they get the lid to give, the spider leaps out. Some lid resistance would definitely make this prank much more effective.

High quality, the spider does spin and if pulled could come off, I would say this is a toy for 7 and older if you want it to last.

This is a fun & entertaining trick box. It is cheap in price, so don't be surprised that it is cheaply made. The box is plain on the outside with a simple slide top. It opens with ease. Caution when you close it because the legs may get caught in the track. Great fun for the low price.

I bought this box for my Grandson's 12th birthday . I plan to put Birthday money in it. He will absolutely get a kick out of this box. I always try to have something "unexpected" to go along with his gift. I wanted to purchase it because they are a small family owned business, & I knew the quality would be good...and it definitely is. I'm sure he will have fun pranking his cousins & friends! I will definitely buy this box again for Christmas & Birthday gifts.

This is an excellent choice for a desktop prank. The box is NOT made out of cheap plywood -- it is solid wood construction with properly finished edges and lacquered surface. Everything works as expected, and the rubber spider has great wiggly legs. Smooth action guarantees the intended result.

Well built, fun little prank - gets everyone who opens it and really startles them! Spider is realistic and has very squiggly legs, so it is quite animated as it quickly jumps out onto your hand. Box can be used to store small items as well (think change, guitar picks, etc.). Open, put in your items and when you close, the spider will rest on top of items and be ready to spring out. Well boxed for shipping.

the item was of good quality, solid and attractive. The child loved it and played the trick on everyone. The oonly problem is that of course it only works once, and then of course the "victim" knows what it will do. This, of course, is not the fault of the item.

We got this box to prank my son's surgeon. The surgery was scheduled for April Fools' Day, and my son (9 years old) is a big jokester. I looked at a few different boxes like this and was tempted to get a cheaper one, but I chose this one because it got good reviews. I was pleasantly surprised at how very well made it is!

My brother (a grown man) actually asked for this for Christmas (which I thought was strange). On Christmas my mom opened it by mistake (not sure if he snuck it in her pile) & it surprised her. Then we passed it to my son (who didn't see her open it) & it got him so good, it was hilarious! The whole family laughed so hard.

Very very fun! enjoyed heck out of pranking people, this box is very well made and works flawlessly. It is hilarious on its own but I added a light activated laughing head and that along with the spider jumping out ( oh man! ) that really made everyone s**t there pants... Good times, good times. It was really fun getting everyone to jump with this one! Recommend it for sure. Its a bit fragile and ours broke but the company sent us a new one that works perfectly fine after our money was refunded. Really appreciate the great customer service.
